Meet Our Team

Butch is a native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and has been a Virginia resident since 1994. Butch comes from a diverse background which includes 12 years of management experience with large companies and 9 years of management and business development in the restoration industry. He is IICRC-certified in four areas of cleaning and focused on Customer Service.

Butch is actively involved in his church, St Luke’s United Methodist, in Yorktown, Virginia. He enjoys leading his Sunday School class as their Vice President. He also volunteers at the PORT Homeless shelter in the winter.

Butch’s other passion is his involvement as a volunteer and committee member with Edmarc Hospice for Children. In association with another organization, Butch has run a charity golf tournament for the past six years. Edmarc is the primary benefactor of the tournament’s proceeds. He is also involved in Edmarc’s largest charity event, “The Hope Gala.” In 2016, the Gala raised over $76k for Edmarc. Joel is a lifelong resident of Williamsburg and comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Joel graduated from Lafayette High School where he excelled at multiple sports and is still an active softball player.

Anita is our part-time office manager and has over 21-years of experience in office management. She’s also spent five years focused on marketing in the restoration industry. Anita is determined to help us grow our company.

Michelle has a unique position, in the sense that she handles office responsibilities for both Capital Carpet and Dust Bunnies of Hampton Roads. She is an accomplished softball player in her own right and has a daughter Alyssa that is following in her footsteps.

Ken, our most recent addition to the Capital Team, comes to us with several years of experience. He is well-versed in several areas of cleaning but excels at both carpet stretching and patching. Ken is also a local resident of Williamsburg and excelled in sports at Lafayette High school. We are happy to welcome you to the Capital Family.

Khalid is a trained technician in several areas of cleaning, upholstery, carpet stretching, and patching.
